- La Décima. Winning the champions league for the tenth time is the biggest goal for this season. So far, the team has shown the best side in the Champions League. 5 wins and 1 draw. 20 goals scored and just 5 received. After 3 seasons in a row reaching semi finals, the club has invested 181,7 million euros acquiring Bale, Illarramendi, Isco, Carvajal and Casemiro. The first rival will be Shalke 04, the 26th February in Germany and the 18th March in Madrid.
- Spanish League. There are 21 games left to overcome the 5 points disadvantage with Barcelona and Atlético. In the first 17 games there have been 2 losses against, one at Barcelona´s home and another against Atlético in the Bernabeu. Besides, 2 draws at Villarreal and Pamplona.
- Convince Xabi to extend the contract. Xabi Alonso's contract finishes in June 2014. He has been a key player for Real Madrid since he came back from injury in the game against Sevilla, October 30th. With him the team has a record of 9 wins and 2 draws, 39 scored goals and 13 received goals. Alonso is hesitating to sign the contract extension and Ancelotti will have to use his persuasion skills to convince him.
- Recover Ramos. Ramos has a record in Real Madrid history with 18 red cards. This season he has been already sent off twice, against Galatasaray and Osasuna. He hasn't been playing at his top level due to physical problems and he is engaged with the club in negotiations to extend the contract, which might also being distracting him. Recover the best Sergio Ramos will help the team achieve the goals.
- Improve Bale's performance. Bale has played just 52% of the possible minutes. He has scored nine goals and given six assists, but needs to be more involved on the game. He fell injured in the warming up against Getafe. An overload on the left thigh. He has also suffered his chronic back problems (one disc protrusion). He offered his best version Juventus Stadium (one goal) and against Sevilla (doublet) and Valladolid (hat-trick), but against Barca and Atletico was missing. Lacks regularly.
- Calm down Di María. There were rumours in the summer that Di Maria was going to leave the team. Finally, Özil left to Arsenal and Di Maria stayed in Madrid. Since then, there has been reports in the press regarding the discontent the argentinian, who has been used mainly as back up. The player is aiming to see more action, and is specially concerned because if he doesn't play more minutes, his participation in this summer's world cup in Brazil might be endangered.
- Settle down Benzema. The french player has scored 8 goals in League and 2 in Champions League, but his performance is still questioned. Against Betis, Athletic, Getafe and Atlético he was booed by the fans at Bernabeu. Later he scored in 5 games in a row and again he is playing worse in December.
